Recipe from “Cookin’ Savvy”
Makes: 24 mini bundt cakes
- 1 box of confetti cake mix
- 1 stick of butter, melted
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
Chocolate Decorations:
- 1 cup of melting chips for each desired color
- Silicone molds in preferred Easter shapes
- 1 pouch of premade green icing
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Pour the mixture into a greased mini bundt pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let the cakes cool before removing them from the pan.
For the chocolate decorations: Melt the chips in separate bowls using the microwave, heating in 1-minute intervals until smooth. Fill small bags with the melted chips and snip off a corner. Pipe the melted chocolate into the molds and freeze for 15-20 minutes. Decorate the mini bundt cakes by piping green icing for "grass" and placing the chocolate shapes on top.
Alternative:
To save time, you can use store-bought chocolate or marshmallow Easter shapes, such as bunnies, eggs, or crosses, instead of making your own toppers.
