Yield: 24 mini bundt cakes
Ingredients:
- 1 box confetti cake mix
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
Chocolate Decorations:
- 1 cup of melting chips in various colors of your choice
- Silicone molds in desired shapes for Easter candy
- 1 pouch of ready-made green icing
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Mix until well blended.
- Pour the batter into a greased mini bundt pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Once done, allow to cool before removing from the pan.
To Create Chocolate Decorations:
- For each color of melting chips, place them in a bowl and melt in the microwave in 1-minute intervals until fully melted.
- Transfer the melted chips into baggies and snip a corner.
- Pipe the melted chips into the silicone molds and place in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to harden.
- Once the mini bundt cakes are cooled, pipe the green icing on top to resemble “grass” and place the chocolate pieces on top.
Alternative Suggestion:
To save time on the decorations, consider using store-bought chocolate bunnies, eggs, crosses, or marshmallow bunnies instead.
