Savory Cheese-Stuffed Meatball Explosions

This recipe is adapted from “Cookin’ Savvy.” It serves 4 people.

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 12 thawed meatballs
  • 1 package (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Marinara sauce, for serving
  • Buffalo sauce, for serving
  • Barbecue sauce, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Use a rolling pin to flatten the puff pastry, then cut it into 12 equal squares.
  3. Place one meatball and a sprinkle of cheese in the center of each square. Wrap the pastry around the cheese and meatball, leaving the top slightly open if you want the meatball to be visible.
  4. Arrange each wrapped meatball into the cups of a muffin tin.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the pastry turns golden brown.
  6. Once done, take them out of the pan and serve with marinara, Buffalo, and barbecue sauces for dipping.
