Strawberry Love Monster Valentine’s Day Recipe
Strawberries and chocolate make for a classic Valentine’s Day treat!
Why not add a fun twist and express your love with these adorable Strawberry Love Monsters? They’re perfect as a fun snack for kids or as a whimsical gift for your partner!
Ingredients:
- Fresh strawberries
- Paper straws
- Melting chocolate (I used Godiva)
- Candy eyes (available at Target)
- White icing for decoration
Instructions:
- Begin by inserting paper straws into the strawberries, positioning them right at the stem. Set them aside.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave, heating it in 15-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate and add a candy eye before setting them aside.
- Repeat this process for all strawberries and then refrigerate them to let the chocolate harden.
- Once hardened, use the white icing to draw smiley faces on the strawberries.
- Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator until you’re ready to share your love monsters!
