This culinary creation is brought to you by “Cookin’ Savvy”.
The end result of this recipe will be 24 mini Bundt cakes.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
– One box of confetti cake mix
– A stick of melted butter
– Four eggs
– A cup of milk
– Each color of melting chips you would want to use
– Silicone Easter candy molds of your preference
– A pouch of ready-made green icing
Start by preheating your oven to 350 F.
Combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Once mixed, pour into your greased mini bundt pan. The small cakes will need to bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Allow them to cool before removing from the pan.
Creating the Chocolate Toppings:
For each color, place the melting chips into a separate bowl. Using your microwave, melt them by heating the bowls in one-minute intervals. Once the chips have fully melted, transfer them into separate plastic bags. To make this a more manageable process, cut a small corner off the end of each bag. You can then insert the melted chips into your desired molds. It will take roughly 15 to 20 minutes in the freezer for them to set.
To assemble, pipe your green icing onto your mini bundt cakes in a design that mimics “grass”. Then, place your molded chocolate pieces on top.
Something to Keep in Mind:
To make this process a bit simpler, you can opt for pre-made chocolate bunnies, eggs, crosses, or marshmallow bunnies instead of making your own molds.
