Recipe From “Cookin’ Savvy”
Yields: 12 cups
Two 16-ounce packages of chocolate chip cookie dough
Whipped Cream:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Filling:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream
- Optional toppings: crumbled cookies or sprinkles
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place three pieces of cookie dough into each section of a muffin tray. Bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then use a shot glass to press into each section. Let cool for an additional 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool entirely.
Using a hand mixer, blend the heavy cream and sugar until it thickens. Then add the cream cheese and powdered sugar and mix until smooth. Fill the cooled cookie cups with this mixture.
If preferred, decorate the edge of each cup with a piping bag. Optionally, top with crumbled cookies or sprinkles.
