CVS App Makes Shopping Quick & Easy | Curbside Pickup

When my two older kids were younger, running errands was always a challenge. They would inevitably get cranky or fall asleep in the car, cutting my shopping trips short. I often wished for a drive-thru option at my favorite stores to avoid dragging them out of the car or waking them up for just a few items.
With the CVS App, I’ve essentially got my “drive-thru” solution (or more accurately, a drive-up!). I can shop from home, park in the Curbside Pickup area, making my shopping trips quicker. Best of all, it helps me avoid those impulse purchases that tend to derail my budget!
Navigating the app is straightforward. You can shop by category to find sale items, or if you’re like me, just type what you’re looking for into the search bar and add it to your cart. Sale prices are automatically applied, and your cart is saved for a while. I treated it like a shopping list, adding items over a few days, and when I was ready, I simply checked out.
Did I mention you can apply your ExtraCare Rewards to your purchases made through the app? I can’t emphasize enough how much time, money, and stress this all-in-one app has saved me.
Once you’ve placed your order, just await a text letting you know it’s ready. I often do my grocery shopping and other errands, and by the time I’m heading home, my order is usually ready. At the store, look for the designated “Curbside” area or a space close to the entrance and park. You don’t even need to leave your car (yes! Let those sleeping kids continue resting!). Simply reply “here” to the notification text, keeping the CVS app open, and within minutes, your order will be brought to you.
The holiday season can pull us in so many directions that it’s hard to catch a breath, let alone complete our shopping. This app has been a lifesaver, ensuring our family is well-stocked with essentials. No more “Mom! We’re out of toilet paper!” moments.

I love that it is free. My sister has been doing curbside shopping for groceries, but it costs per trip. I’ve been thinking I should start and save some time, but I do enjoy browsing the aisles, which often leads to budgeting issues as you mentioned.
