Strawberry Carrots

During Easter, we love adding a few fun, themed dishes to our table. These delightful strawberry carrots are simple to make and encourage kids to snack on fruit before diving into their Easter baskets. They also serve as a delightful surprise for any potluck!

Ingredients:
– 1 lb strawberries
– 8 oz orange candy melting chips
– Orange sparkling sugar (optional)


Strawberry Carrots Step

Directions:
1. Gently fluff the stems of the strawberries.
2. Place strawberries in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
3. Melt the candy chips in the microwave for 30 seconds, stirring until smooth.
4. Get a piece of wax or parchment paper large enough to hold all the strawberries.
5. Use a spoon to spread the melted chocolate around the top, near the stem.
6. Either dip or spoon chocolate over the berries, holding them by the stem.
7. Optionally sprinkle with sparkling sugar.
8. Place the strawberries on the paper.
9. Chill in the freezer for immediate setting of the chocolate.
