Easter Bunny Trail Mix
If you’ve been with us for a while, you know that my family is really into popcorn. With some leftover Wilton melting chocolates from previous projects, it was the perfect time to create a batch of Easter Bunny Trail Mix.

YOU WILL NEED:
* Wilton melting chocolates (choose one color or several)
* Popped popcorn
* Pretzels
* Chocolate candies
* Peanuts
* Wax paper
Feel free to adjust the amounts of each ingredient according to your preference!
DIRECTIONS:
Begin by preparing your popcorn, allowing it to cool for a few moments. Make sure to pick out any unpopped kernels for the best experience.
If using multiple colors of melting chocolate, divide your popcorn into separate bowls for each color. I had three bowls for the three chocolate colors I used.
Crush some pretzels in your hand before adding them in.
Add a handful or two of peanuts.
Incorporate your chocolate candies (M&Ms are great, but feel free to substitute with Reese’s Pieces or any chocolate treat you prefer).
Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl (glass works well) in 30-second increments, stirring in between until fully melted.
Drizzle a bit of melted chocolate over your popcorn mixture and gently toss to coat. Keep adding chocolate until you reach your desired level of coverage (we aim for just enough chocolate to complement the mix without overpowering it).
Spread the mixture out on wax paper and let it cool.
Our mix featured pink, blue, and orange colors.

Do you enjoy the combination of sweet and salty flavors? Would you make any changes to the recipe?

This is so cute and a wonderful dessert to make for Easter. I like how it looks and how easy it is to prepare. I would love to make this with my niece when she visits next week. The sweet and salty flavors are a great combo!
