Applebees Ultimate Love Story #BestDateEver

As the school year kicks off, my oldest son and his girlfriend are already feeling the pressure. To help them unwind, I treated them to a “Best Date Ever” experience at Applebee’s.

Instead of a standard overview of their meal, my son surprised me with a personal review!

The service was exceptional! The host greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome. Our server Alex was outgoing and made us feel at home. We started by exploring the appetizer menu and immediately gravitated towards the spinach artichoke dip.

It arrived piping hot and was every bit as delicious as it looked.

Aly opted for the new maple bacon chicken piadini, while I chose the Butcher’s Reserve 12 oz. sirloin steak cooked medium rare, accompanied by garlic green beans and classic fries. Our food took a little longer to arrive, but the wait was worthwhile as it was absolutely delicious.

The fries were delightfully crispy, and the steak had the perfect texture, cooked just to my liking. Aly enjoyed her meal thoroughly and felt pleasantly full quite quickly.

When Alex inquired about dessert, we hesitated at first but couldn’t resist after seeing the churro s’mores on the menu. They were so good that we polished off the plate despite being stuffed. To top off the fantastic experience, the host kindly held the door open for us as we left. All in all, it was a wonderful evening!

When I spoke with my son later, he expressed his gratitude once more, saying they had the best night they’d experienced in a long time. Applebee’s truly provided them with a “Best Date Ever” experience.
