As a mom, life is busy and filled with many responsibilities, and I often forget to keep up with prescriptions. Having the CVS Pharmacy App on my phone helps ensure we never run out of our medications.
With just a few taps on the app, I can refill prescriptions, view my entire prescription list, request renewals, and even transfer prescriptions between CVS locations. If I happen to spill my pill sorter, it can help me identify each pill too!
I’ve also set up text alerts for my account. When my auto-refills are ready for pick-up, I receive text notifications that inform me which prescription is ready along with a link to check the details.
This screenshot from my “all rx” page shows my prescription history, including what I’ve filled, the dates, and costs. Even if a prescription for allergy meds has expired, I can easily select to refill it, and the pharmacy will handle the renewal request. So convenient!
The app is even more useful, as I can manage prescriptions for my family members too. By adding my husband’s profile, I can ensure that his allergy medications are always stocked.

- Deals & Rewards: Forget the coupons! The app provides personalized offers based on purchase history that you can send directly to your ExtraCare Rewards card.
- Photo Center: Upload photos from your phone or Facebook using the app and conveniently pick up prints in-store.
- Shop Online: Browse and reorder your favorite CVS products easily through the app.
- Find a Store: Locate the nearest CVS Pharmacy whether you’re at home or traveling.
