Crumble Apple Dessert

Apple Crumble

  • 1 can (20 ounces) of apple pie filling
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup of chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 1/2 sticks of butter, melted
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 F.
  2. In a baking dish, evenly spread the apple pie filling on the bottom.
  3. Mix the cake mix with pecans, if using, then spread this evenly over the apple filling.
  4. Pour the melted butter over the cake mix. Do not stir. If the butter gathers in one area, gently tilt the dish from side to side to ensure even coverage.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
