Apple Crumble
- 1 can (20 ounces) of apple pie filling
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 1/2 sticks of butter, melted
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 F.
- In a baking dish, evenly spread the apple pie filling on the bottom.
- Mix the cake mix with pecans, if using, then spread this evenly over the apple filling.
- Pour the melted butter over the cake mix. Do not stir. If the butter gathers in one area, gently tilt the dish from side to side to ensure even coverage.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
