Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

1 1/2 cups raw pumpkin seeds

2 teaspoons sea salt, plus extra for additional seasoning if desired

2 teaspoons melted salted butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Bring a pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add the pumpkin seeds and 2 teaspoons of salt; continue simmering for 15 minutes. Drain and distribute them evenly on paper towels to dry.

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Cover a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.

In a medium-sized bowl, mix the seeds and butter until they are well coated. Add garlic powder, paprika, and extra salt, if you wish. Lay the seeds evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
