Number of Servings: 12
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Butter
- 36 tater tots (thawed)
- 10 eggs
- Half a cup of heavy whipping cream or half-and-half
- Half a cup of shredded cheese
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons of onion powder
- 1 pack (2 1/2 ounces) of real bacon pieces
- Salt and pepper according to your preference
Now, let’s get to the cooking part.
- Preheat your oven to 350 F.
- Use butter to grease the muffin tin. In each muffin compartment, place three tots and squish them down.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the eggs, cream, shredded cheese, garlic and onion powder, and bacon pieces. To this, add salt and pepper according to your preference.
- Pour this mixture into each of the muffin compartments, filling them completely.
- Put a cookie sheet under the muffin tin (this will help manage any spills), and pop it into the oven for about 20-25 minutes.
Here’s a handy tip: You can prepare these in advance and just warm them up in the microwave whenever you’re ready to enjoy them on the go.
