Recipe Adapted from "Cookin’ Savvy"
Yield: 24 mini bundts
- 1 box confetti cake mix
- 1 stick of butter, melted
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
Chocolate Decorations:
- 1 cup of melting chips for each desired color
- Silicone molds for Easter-themed shapes
- 1 pouch of pre-made green frosting
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Pour the mixture into a greased mini bundt pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool and then remove from the pan.
To create the chocolate decorations: Melt each color of melting chips in a separate bowl using the microwave in 1-minute intervals until completely melted. Transfer the melted chocolate into small bags and cut a small corner. Pipe the chocolate into the silicone molds and place in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. Decorate the mini bundt cakes with green frosting to represent grass, then top with the chocolate shapes.
Alternative Option:
To save time, consider using store-bought chocolate bunnies, eggs, crosses, or marshmallow bunnies instead.
